FrIDAY 9 maY. Lédigos – Sahagún – Bercianos.

26 km, total 421,5 km. Easy walking.
We were able to start walking by 7:20. In the next village, the Terradillos Templarios, was an open bar and we ate our breakfast. Or rather, we got some coffee and cakes.
In Sahagun, we stopped for lunch. I bought shampoo and a towel when I had forgotten my towel in the Villalcazar Sirga.
3 km after Sahagun the "el camino" divided itself. There was an alternative way to go, "La Calzada Romana", which was several kilometers longer. Steve thought about following this, but regretted when he where thinking about his feets.
We are now in Bercianos. We arrived about 14:30. The hostel is a very old building, almost a ruin, with cracks in the wall. However, we received a bed and that was the key. On the hostel we were served dinner at 20:00. We cooked , eat and washed up the dishes together. It was a very tasty dinner with a very international and good atmosphere. All Pilgrims sang a song in their own language, not me. After dinner was a little meeting in a room that looked like a small church. I was surprised that the hostess did not speak Spanish, she came from Hungary. The payment for accommodation, dinner and breakfast was optional, most paid between 5 and 10 €.

Next day we reached Puente Villarente >>>
