When I left the hostel 7:30, there where two signs that marked the path. Unfortunately I choosed the wrong sign. Realized after 15 minutes I was on the wrong track and turned back. This meant that I did not get on the track until 8:00. In the Ventas Narón I ate breakfast. I had planned to eat lunch in Palas de Rei, but arrived too early and therefore I continued to a restaurant after the bridge over the Rio Porto. Rio Porto lies just before Casanova. This place I and Lennart used on our smaller compostela hiking 2007.

I came to Melide at 15:00. Here we used the same hostel as last trek with Lennart in 2007. I shared a room with three Danish weman. I had not shaved since Burgos. Therefore I looked awful. Got bought a pair of disposable razors and adjusted the face for a beard. I also sent a sms to Mette asking where she was. I found out she was in Cabelos, about 120 km after me, and expected to arrive at Santiago May 28th.
